Challenge
KoBold Metals is changing the way the world finds critical minerals. Using AI and advanced data analysis, they’re replacing slow, expensive, and often harmful traditional exploration methods with something smarter, faster, and more sustainable.
But their approach—powered by machine learning and predictive modeling—needed to be understood by two very different audiences: scientists and investors. Both needed to see the impact of KoBold’s work, and both needed to trust it.
Our job was to translate their groundbreaking technology into a clear, compelling story and bring it to life through a bold new digital presence.

The design system balances technical depth with accessibility—detailed enough for scientists, engaging enough for investors. We used bold visuals and dynamic storytelling to highlight KoBold’s innovation, blending elements of the seen and unseen to reflect their unique approach.
The website itself is clean, confident, and built for impact. Interactive maps and project showcases turn complex data into a compelling experience, making KoBold’s global exploration efforts easy to understand and exciting to follow.

Since the launch, KoBold has strengthened its position as a leader in clean energy minerals. The revamped brand and website have helped attract major investors and partners, reinforcing their role at the forefront of sustainable resource discovery.
